"Lång Flickjacka"

Pääsiäislomalla sain viimeisteltyä tämän kesätakin.

During my Easter Holidays I finished this summer jacket.

Crocheted details in arms and on front.

Pitää vielä viimeistellä vetoketju eteen, muutoin alkaa olla valmista.

I only need to finish zip to the front, otherwise it starts to get ready.

Mä tykkään noista simppeleistä kuvioista alhaalla ja hihojensuissa, ja tietysti pinkeistä yksityiskohdista!

I like the simple figures in this jacket and the little pink details of course!

Osasin virkatakin! Ja mukavan jämäkkä ja viimeistelty tuli.

I haven´t crocheted that much, but I am pretty pleased with these firm and beautiful pink details.

Lisäsin myös itse, ohjeesta poiketen, tuon niskalenksun, helpompi käytössä luulisin:)

I added something which I think will help in practice, namely this becket (I am not sure if it is a right translation, nut anyways I mean that ring to hang your jacket).

Pattern:  From a swedish magazine "Kreativ stickning, mamma & barn" nr 1/2012

Name of the pattern: 214 Lång Flickjacka

Size: 3 years (the biggest of this pattern)

Yarn used: Katia Pima Cotton, 100% Cotton Pima, (50g- 105m)

Color: 09 Gris and the details 10 Rosa

Wash: carefully in 30 C degrees

I used: 6 balls of the main color and little from one ball pink (rosa)

Needles: 3 European size

Price: 24,10 €, I bought from a shop called Piikkopirta from Turku, Finland

One ball was 4,30€ with 20% discount (lucky me!) 

Without the advice from the yarn shop I would not have known what kind of yarn to buy. I found it rather difficult to change the yarn to a different from the pattern. Something to learn....
